Piccup Pram

My 12 Yr.. old son and I built Jim Michalaks Piccup Pram last  winter.  It was our first boatbuilding project. The boat is made from lumberyard materials. Decks and hull from  1/4 " luan ply covered with fiberglass and west system epoxy.  Trim  was ripped from 1X4 mahogany decking. The mast was laminated from a ripped Douglas fir 2X10. The  oars were laminated and carved out from 1x6 pine, all to Mr. Michalaks specs.  The boat went together well using Mr. M's blueprints and instructions. It was a joy to build.   She's extremely stable (stand up and walk around) and rows well.  We haven't sailed her yet, and wont until we finish the sail.   A Highly recommended design.
