Users can plug any electrical tool or equipment into the Power Box’s 4-way OSHA and UL approved GFCI protected power outlet. Additional power resources include an integrated Bosch battery charger compatible with 12, 14.4, 18 and 24 -volt Bosch batteries. Furthermore, the unit offers a 12-volt power outlet for charging cell phones, two-way radios or other devices. With all of these features built into the unit, users no longer need to stress over shared power resources. In fact, they can even make the day’s work go by faster with their favorite radio station or CDs.

The Power Box is also a jobsite radio and CD player. Understanding where other jobsite radios have been unsuccessful in the past, the Power Box offers enhanced features designed to provide the best sound possible. Users will find a built-in AM/FM digital radio with 30 preset buttons (20FM/10AM) for favorite stations and a front-load CD player with special anti-skip technology and CD-R/CD-RW compatibility. A LCD clock display makes viewing the time and function easy with its large viewing area. Keeping ever expanding technologies in mind, Bosch also designed the Power Box with a standard 3.5-millimeter auxiliary jack for MP3 player compatibility.

Four preset equalizer settings, pre-programmed levels that emphasize bass, clear, soft or vocal music enhance the listening experience. With a press of the “Bosch Sound” button, the entire range of sound receives a dynamic boost in quality without needing to make complicated equalizer adjustments. A midrange and tweeter speaker combination perfectly amplifies music and radio favorites. Furthermore, for jobs that might draw users away from electrical power sources, Bosch batteries will power both the radio and CD-player.

Durability features assure that the Power Box will last on the job. An aluminum roll cage prevents damage from everyday jobsite abuse. Features like sealed buttons, speakers, battery chamber and CD player assure protection from the elements. And an integrated antenna eliminates the opportunity to bend or break even a rubberized external equivalent.

Finally, with convenient power management and handling features, the Power Box quickly packs and transports with ease. An integrated cord wrap conveniently stores the unit’s single cord; while a sturdy top-handle ensures easy transport.
