I was recently doing some reading about NYC maritime history, I read about the old HORSE POWERED ferries used to cross the east river and Harlem river. Did a quick Google and foudn some neat sites....

After we took our son, Joe, to the San Juan river last spring, he wrote an article about the trip and now he has put some of the pictures and video clips into a short film.

Nice build, and incredibly, the man talked his new wife along for their week-long honeymoon on their new 15-foot sailboat on the Mississippi.
